This sculpture embodies the duality that exists within each of us—the inseparable coexistence of the masculine and the feminine. The figure is divided, yet remains whole, symbolizing the delicate balance of opposites that shape our essence.
The masculine half is defined, tense, and structured—it seems to embody resilience and protection. In contrast, the feminine side is fluid, soft, and filled with movement and emotion, representing flexibility and sensitivity. Together, they create a harmonious dialogue between strength and gentleness, stability and fluidity.
This work challenges conventional notions of identity, revealing the idea that we are never just one thing. We are a fusion of contrasts, a combination of energies that coexist, complement, and complete one another.
