Jealousy
This sculpture is a frozen emotion, a captured moment of human closeness where feelings intertwine in a knot of anxiety, jealousy, and dependency. A man and a woman merge into a single, painfully tense silhouette—their embrace is both an attempt to hold on and a desire to break free.
The surface texture is rough, uneven, as if marked by cracks of time and inner conflict. This rugged texture accentuates the emotional strain, the hidden tension beneath the outward form of connection. Concrete, cold and heavy, becomes a metaphor for the fragility of human emotions: its apparent strength is, in reality, vulnerable and prone to breaking.
This sculpture speaks of the complexity of love, the fear of loss, and how relationships, capable of bringing warmth, can simultaneously become a source of pain.
