This sculpture is a visual metaphor for human life, captured in plaster. A head, split in half, seems to reveal a person’s inner history, exposing the layers of lived years, each preserving experiences, memories, and emotions. The differently colored layers on the cross-section form a chronology of fate—a sequence of events that shape one’s identity.
At the very core, beneath the traces of time, remains a pure white child— a symbol of the original essence, the inner innocence and sincerity with which life begins. He seems to be hidden within the accumulated experiences, unchanged, pristine, sheltered behind the layers of time.
This work is created individually for each person, reflecting their unique journey, their joys, losses, and transformations. It is a sculptural portrait not only of appearance but of a life lived—embodied in a material that itself resembles fragments of time.
